Today is the 66th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese.
Pearl Harbor was/is a military base for the U.S. in Hawaii. It forced the U.S. into World War II. Here are some websites to view if you are interested!

Question: Do you think the U.S. was justified in dropping 2 atomic bombs on Japan (Hiroshima & nagasaki) after the attack on Pear Harbor?

If I'm not mistaken, we were handtied into dropping the bomb due to some economical reasons and we were all on the same page. And from where we stand with Japan today, I would say we gave them plenty of help afterwards. So yes, he was justified. The people were justified.
